PayPal, a global player in the digital payments space, has rolled out its first marketing campaign for the Indian market.
Conceptualised by Soho Square, the campaign titled ‘Safe Hai’ shows the story of an Indian and American family gearing up for a wedding. The bride’s family (Indian) looks to purchase a hat for the groom’s father. The mother of the bride looks it up online and uses PayPal to complete the order, even though her husband is skeptical about the online purchase.
The scene shifts to the groom’s family visiting the bride’s house. The father of the bride hands over the hat to the groom’s father. Similarly, the groom’s father has a Pashmina shawl for him. He too used PayPal to make the payment for his order.

We want them to know that PayPal takes steps to ensure the safety of their financial data from being compromised while making online payments. Our campaign that has both traditional and digital legs to it and aims to drive comprehension amongst consumers and merchants how PayPal the safer, easier way to pay. Safe Hai”
The campaign consists of shorter films featuring the two families.
